Hip Hop Abs Chef's Salad

It's lunch time so that means it is salad time! This Hip Hop Abs workout salad has a lot of great ingredients that will provide your body with the energy and nutrients to get through the day, it will also keep your metabolism going. Simple to make, may take a little longer than he breakfast meals though.

Hip Hop Abs Chef's Salad
1 cup romaine lettuce
1/2 cup chopped cucumber
1/2 cup sliced mushrooms
1/2 cup chopped broccoli
1 Tbsp. balsamic vinaigrette (or equivalent dressing - no ranch, blue cheese, etc.)
2 oz. sliced lean meat of your choice (roast beef, turkey)

Toss the salad and eat up.

Hip Hop Abs Power Shake

It's a breakfast day, and this Hop Hop Abs breakfast has one of my favorite fruits in it. It is a Strawberry Power Shake. This is a great meal, I love anytime when I start off the day with a healthy shake or smoothie. This is very simple to make, you should have plenty of time to make it in the morning before you start your day.

Hip Hop Abs Strawberry Power Shake

1 scoop whey protein powder
1/2 cup sliced fresh strawberries
4 oz. water, or lite soy or skim milk
1 Tbsp. flaxseed oil (optional)

Mix in blender with a scoop of ice

Hip Hop Abs Crazy Chicken

I think Hip Hop Abs are running out of ideas for the names of there recipes. Earlier we had the Amazing Salad, and now we we have Crazy Good Chicken. If they give it name like Crazy Good Chicken, it better be Crazy Good. I am sure it will be good, it's chicken. This will give you an excellent source of protein for your Hip Hop abs workout.

Hip Hop Abs Crazy Good Chicken
4 oz. chicken breast
2 Tbsp. lemon juice
2 Tbsp. chopped scallions
1 mist cooking spray
2 cups spinach
Salt and pepper to taste

Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Lightly mist a large piece of aluminum foil with cooking spray, pile spinach in the center, and sprinkle scallions over the spinach. Place Chicken in the center of spinach arrangement and drizzle lemon juice over the top. Wrap tightly into a pouch. Cook for 20 minutes or until chicken is cooked through.

Hip Hop Abs tuna salad

It seems like there is always a salad for lunch. I am sure they are healthy for you, they probably give you the correct nutrients that you need to for your Hip Hop Abs workout routines. They usually have some source of protein in them too, so that is good.

Hip Hop Abs Tuna Salad
1 cup mixed baby greens
1/4 cup chopped cucumber
1/2 cup chopped broccoli
1/2 cup chopped cauliflower
1 tbsp. lite vinaigrette ( or equivalent dressing - no ranch, blue cheese, ec.)
4 oz. flaked tuna (packed in water)

Toss Salad and eat it.

Hip Hop Abs Popeye Omelet

When I was young I grew up with three older sisters, until I reach a certain age my sisters were always bigger than me. One of my favorite Television shows and movie was Popeye. Popeye taught me about spinach, I started eating spinach at meal times and then I would challenge my sisters to wrestling matches and beat them up. They probably let me beat them up, but still I thought it was the spinach. This breakfast is a spinach omelet, great for Hip Hop Abs.

Hip Hop Abs Mushroom, Cheese, and Spinach Omelet
3 egg whites, 1 whole egg (beaten)
1 cup spinach
1/2 cup sliced mushrooms
1oz. low fat-cheddar cheese

Cook in pan lightly misted with cooking spray

Hip Hop Abs STEAK!

When I saw this meal I got really excited, anytime I see the words steak, ribs, hot wings, I get really excited. Meat is the best thing in the world. I hope you enjoy this Hip Hop Abs recipe, it is called the Steak-Veg Throw down

Hip Hop Abs Steak-Veg Throw Down
4oz. lean beef steak (hanger, skirt, sirloin)
2 tbsp. vinegar
1 tbsp. olive oil
1 tbsp. chopped fresh garlic
1 mist cooking spray
1 cup asparagus
1/2 cup carrots
Salt and pepper to taste

Preheat grill or grill pan. Place steak in a plastic storage bag and add garlic, vinegar, and oil and marinate. Lightly mist grill surface with cooking spray and cook steak approximately 5 minutes per side or to your desired doneness. Steam asparagus and carrots, then serve with steak.

Amazing Salad For Hip Hop Abs

I hope you enjoy this one, I probably won't do this lunch, I'll find something different to eat. I am down with Caesar Salads but anything else can stay away from me. Hip Hop Abs calls this the Amazing Salad, so if you like salad it will probably be amazing. This is really good for you though, it is a very lean meal for your Hip Hop Abs workout.

Hip Hop Abs Amazing Salad

Hip Hop Abs Energy Smoothie

I woke up today thinking, I need to go get a smoothie for breakfast, I did and I feel great. I love having smoothies for breakfast they taste great, they fill you up, and it is just a great way to get energy to start off the day. I also love berries, and this smoothie has berries. This is a Hip Hop Abs Berry Energy Smoothie. This is great to give you energy for your Hip Hop Abs routine

Hip Hop Abs Berry Energy Smoothie
1 scoop Whey Protein Powder
3/4 cup mixed berries (blackberry, boysenberry, blueberry, etc.)
4 oz. water, or lite soy or skim milk

mix in blender with a scoop of ice

Pretty darn simple, only takes a few minutes

Hip Hop Abs Tuna Dinner

It is dinner time! You are going to enjoy this great Hip Hop Abs Dinner, if you like fish. But even if you do not like fish there are still a lot of people out there who like tuna, and this is not the tuna from the can, this is a tuna steak, the best and most healthiest type of tuna

Hip Hop Abs Tuna

4 oz. tuna steak
2 tbsp. soy sauce
1 tbsp. chopped scallions
1 mist cooking spray
2 cups bok choy or cabbage
Salt and pepper to taste

Preheat skillet, lightly mist pan surface with cooking spray, and cook tuna approximately 2 minutes per side or to your desired doneness. Steam bok choy, then serve with tuna and sprinkle both with soy sauce and scallions.

Shrimp Caesar Salad for Hip Hop Abs

Okay, so you read before that I really do not like salad, but if there is one salad that I really do like it is the Caesar Salad, it is the one exception to the rule for me. So in this Hip Hop abs Lunch they have made up a great Grilled Shrimp Caesar Salad for us to enjoy. The recipe takes a little bit more time but t will be worth it.

Hip Hop Abs Grilled Shrimp Caesar Salad

1 1/2 cups romaine lettuce
1 tbsp. light Caesar dressing
4 oz. peeled, deveined shrimp
Grill seasoning of choice
1 lime
1 Tbsp. grated Parmesan cheese

Preheat grill or grill pan, squeeze lime over shrimp, and season with grill seasoning. Cook shrimp 3 minutes or until done. Toss salad with Caesar and add shrimp.

Hip Hop Abs Omelet

It's time for another great breakfast recipe from the Hip Hop Abs workout. This meal is fast and easy to make, and it will satisfy your craving. Remember if there is anything you do not like in this recipe you do not have to put it in, for instance I can not stand mushrooms, and this recipe calls for mushrooms, so I will not be putting mushrooms in this recipe.

The Hip Hop Abs Swiss, Mushroom, and Broccoli Omelet

3 egg whites, beaten
1 whole egg
1/2 cup broccoli
1/2 cup sliced mushrooms
1 oz. low-fat Swiss crumbles

Cook in a cooking spray

Hip Hop Abs Chicken

So I don't know if you know this but I love chicken, one of my favorite meals is hot wings, love them, I can't get enough of them, but I am also a huge fan of other recipes that involve chicken.  I get even more excited when I see garlic in that recipe too.  This is a great dinner if you are doing the Hip Hop Abs Workout Routine.
The Hip Hop Abs Chicken Delight Recipe
4 oz. skinless chicken breast
2 cloves garlic
1 tsp, chopped rosemary
1 mist cooking spray
2 cups spinach or broccoli
salt and pepper to taste
seasoning salt of choice
Preheat oven to 375 degrees
Most a large piece of aluminum foil with cooking spray
Put chicken, garlic, rosemary, salt, and pepper in the center, and wrap tightly into a pouch
cook for 20 minutes or until cooked through
Steam spinach or broccoli until tender.  Drain and sprinkle with seasoning

Hip Hop Abs Salad

I hope you like tuna, because this Hip Hop Abs recipe has tuna.  But tuna is an excellent source of protein.  This recipe would be best if you got real tuna, not the stuff in the can.  So this meal will defiantly help you with you Hip Hop Abs workout.  The only draw back for me at least is that it is a salad, I am just not a big salad fan.
Well, here is the lunch recipe
Hip Hop Abs Tuna Garden Salad 
1 cup romaine lettuce
1/4 cup arugula
1/2 cup chopped broccoli
1/2 cup chopped cauliflower
1 Tbsp.  red wine vinaigrette (or equivalent dressing - no ranch, blue cheese, etc.)
4 oz. flaked white tuna (Water Packed)
Toss the salad and enjoy.

Hip Hop Abs Smoothie

So if your are doing the Hip Hop abs routine, and you are following the 6 day slim down, you probably already know about these Hip Hop Abs recipes.  If haven't been doing the Hip Hop ab workout routine than this is pretty knew stuff to you, and I hope this helps you even in your daily life. So here is another breakfast recipe.
Hip Hop Abs Strawberry Banana Smoothie
1/2 banana
1/2 cup of strawberries
4 oz. water with a scoop of ice
It is that simple, all you have to do is blend it and there is a breakfast for you.  That should only take you a few minutes to make that.  If you don't have time in the morning to make this recipe, you may want to loosen up your schedule.

Hip Hop Abs Dinner

Well here is my favorite meal of the day, dinner. For some reason I just get excited every time I hear about dinner. But Hip Hop Abs has some great dinners that are pretty easy to make. i hope you like fish. Make sure that you check out the recipes and see if there are any foods you don't like or you could be allergic too.

The Hip Hop Abs Dinner
Fish with Flava
4oz. fish (Halibut, cod, re snapper, or turbot)
1/2 shallot, shopped fine
1 tsp. chopped garlic
1/4 tsp. chopped fresh thyme
1/4 chopped tomato
1/2 juiced lemon
2 cups asparagus
2 tbsp. water
salt and pepper to taste

Preheat oven to 450 degree
Place fish on a large piece of aluminum foil, with 2 tablespoons of water to provide steam.
Top with tomato, shallot, garlic, thyme, lemon juice, salt, and pepper
Wrap tightly into a place on a baking sheet, and bake for 15 to 20 minutes. Steam asparagus and serve with fish.

Okay, so if you liked Px90, if you liked Power 90, if you are doing P90x plus, you can relate that Tony Horton knows what he is talking about. Hip Hop Abs Lunch

Here is a great Hip Hop Abs recipe for lunch, that you can make before you go to work, school, or where ever you go. It will help you get through the day, it is very important to eat lunch, because if you miss it you are more vulnerable to eat a huge meal before you go to bed.

The lean, Mean Salad
1 Cup fresh mixed greens
1/4 cup chopped cucumber

Hip Hop Abs Breakfast

There are some great foods that you can be eating while doing your Hip Hop Abs routine, over the next week I will be giving you recipes that you can create so you can eat healthy while working out with Hip Hop Abs. Here is a great Hip Hop Abs breakfast recipe
Hip Hop Abs Blueberry Smoothie
1 scoop whey protein powder
1 cup fresh blueberries
4 oz. water, or lite soy or skim milk
1 Tbsp. flaxseed oil (optional)

mix in blender with scoop of ice.

Hip Hop Abs Workouts

There are four main workouts to Hip Hop Abs, first there is the Secrets To Flat Abs. In this session Shaun will teach you his own secrets to the tilt, tuck, and tighten ab-flattening, this workout targets your upper and lower abs, and it is around 13 minutes long.  The next dvd is Fat Burning Cardio, this workout is made for burning calories, shedding fat, and getting that six pack you always wanted, and you do to Hip Hop music, so it's fun, this dvd is 30 minutes long.  Thirdly is the Ab Sculpt dvd, Shaun continues to show you his moves that will deliver the flat, toned stomach you want, with dance moves that target and improve your abs. 25 minutes long.  The last workout is Total Body Burn, this is exactly what the title says it is, a total body cardio workout.  The fat will just melt off your body, and get rid of those problem areas for a leaner body. This is a 45 minute workout.  As a bonus you also get the Hips, buns, and thighs dvd, and another 5 minute ab blasting dvd.  If you already have Hip Hop abs, then try Shaun T Rockin Body

Rockin Body


Okay, so I know that this blog is supposed to talk about Px90, but I know A lot of people like this Hip Hop Abs stuff. They just came out with Shaun T Rockin Body, but they also just came out with Rockin Body Results Deluxe. Rockin Body Deluxe has two more workouts both 45 minutes long, that will maximize your Rockin Body (that's what it says). I have heard nothing but good things about these workouts, so i decided to post about them.
